-scale blizzard. john mccain probably would have preferred to have been on the golf course. he was at a town hall meeting yesterday. he was for immigration when president bush was in the white house. when he was against immigration reform under president obama. the first term. now, he's back and for immigration reform. his constituents weren't too happy. one of them challenging him about why they don't build a fence. >> build a dang fence. where's the fence? >> in case you missed it, i showed you -- >> that's not a fence. >> that's not a fence. it is a banana. we're putting up a banana. about $600 million worth of appropriations that we have. >> bill: mccain has gotten so grumpy. when he ran for president in 2000, at those town hall meetings, i covered him in new hampshire. i traveled on that bus with him. he was so good at those town hall meetings. he was on top of it. people challenged him and he always had a good answer. little sense of humor. >> it's not a fence. it's a banana. >> that's one way to handle it, i guess. >> bill: stick it in your ear. cindy here to start off the hour. little bit
